Easy ordering/delivery

How do I place an order?

1. Select the item /size and colour - "add to basket"
2. Repeat step 1 for further items and each time you add an item you will be taken to a summary of your order. When complete select "checkout"
3. Next page allows 3 options-so chose one of these

A)"Log in to my account" if you have previously set up an account with us –your  address details will appear

B)"I wish to open an account" if you choose to do so

C) "Order without opening an account"

4  Next page shows the order summary - choose your delivery method ( see below) and costs of order and delivery are shown in total. The billing address is requested on the lower part of page-***please ensure that all asterisk information is completed or you will be continually returned to this page.select "continue to next page"

5  Next page again summarises order and postal costs whilst the lower part requires the delivery address input.

6. Next page again summarises order and lower part requires you to choose payment method - select Paypal button - please note that you do not need an paypal account to shop.

7. Next page will summarise the previous 3 pages i.e billing address/ delivery address and Paypal method of payment.. You can change  these details at this point .Check all info and tick "I agree to terms and conditions" button  (after reading terms and conditions section on home page)

8. Select "submit order" button.

 9.  Next page shows the secure Paypal payment screen where you have 2 options for payment

 A)     Select “continue “ (in blue type)  text which appears above card logos, if you don't have or don't wish to use a Paypal account . This will reveal a form with your billing address showing and the option to choose which card you wish to pay with. Complete the card details, select "review order and continue" and you will complete the process and be returned to ski kids order summary.
B)    Right side of page allows you to use an existing Paypal account where payment will be taken directly from funds held within your paypal account.

 10. A receipt will be forwarded immediately by e-mail from Paypal confirming the amount paid and transaction reference.

Delivery

All goods purchased on-line are dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of your order ( subject to availability). Please note that orders placed on a Friday afternoon, during the weekend, or during holidays will be processed on the next possible working day. You will receive an e-mail to confirm dispatch of your order




We offer the following delivery options.

We normally deliver within UK only (including NI and Islands) and UK delivery prices are shown below, however we can deliver worldwide and  the postage costs for  individual countries will be displayed during the order process but before you finalise your order .

ExpressDelivery - UK- LIMITED SERVICE

Royal Mail’s Guaranteed Next Day delivery for urgent items (before 1pm) - delivery guaranteed next day from dispatch of order. Please note that this is a LIMITED SERVICE and only available for:
 
Orders placed on Fridays before 4pm 
Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays - NOTE -next day means delivery will be a Tuesday

Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with parcels requiring a signature. If there is normally no one at home, a card will be left to re-arrange delivery. Alternatively, please supply an address that can receive the parcel on your behalf. Parcels will not be left at doors , behind huts etc. Delivery times over the busy Christmas period could be extended by a day or two.

Overseas orders can take up to two weeks to arrive.

Changing order details

If after you have placed an order, you wish to change details, please email sales@ski-kids.com with your order number as soon as possible. Unfortunately, if the goods have been dispatched you must return the items unused ,with all labels intact (as per Returns below). You will be liable for the postage costs for the goods originally sent/ return postage costs of original goods (see Returns below) and also the postage costs of the revised order, therefore please check your order carefully.

Returns

We sincerely hope that you are delighted with your purchase. If however any items do not meet your expectations, please return them in perfect condition with original packaging, within 14 days for a refund or exchange. Goods must be received

 1.  new and unused condition

2.  with original packing intact

The refund will be in the form of the original method of payment and will not be issued until goods are received back at this address in a resaleable condition. Customers are responsible for the postage cost of returns and are advised to use a recorded/insured delivery service as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.



Exchanging  items

If you simply wish to exchange an item then please return it to us UNUSED within 14 days of purchase as per Returns above . You have the option of

a) choosing a different size  or choosing an alternative item(s)- simply place a new order on the web site to receive your chosen replacement good(s). These will be dispatched immediately as a new order. Please return the exchange items as above and upon receipt we will refund the cost of the exchanged items immediately
b) receiving  a full refund

Size Queries

Please refer to Sizing information-  If you require advice regarding the selection of your correct size, please contact our sales department by email sales@ski-kids.com or call 01505 335212 and one of our  staff will be delighted to advise you. Sizes vary between different brands and styles but they always refer to body measurements not garment measurements.

Payment Options

Payment is normally made via credit/debit/switch card through Paypal .PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO ORDER ITEMS-SIMPLY SELECT "CONTINUE" ABOVE CARD LOGOS (IN CHECKOUT AREA) AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO INPUT YOUR CARD DETAILS.

Should you wish to pay by cheque then please e-mail us your order details via our "contact us" page. We will subsequently confirm that all items are in stock, the postage costs and total order invoice amount. Simply forward a cheque for this amount and we will forward your order as soon as possible, however this may take up to 2 weeks.

Cancellations

Under European Law ,you may choose to cancel your order at any point from the time of placing the order up to seven working days after the day you receive your goods ( “cooling off “ period). Should you choose to do this , then please notify us in writing (by e-mail, fax or letter) of your wish to cancel the order , within seven working days from the day you receive your order. Unfortunately if the goods have already been dispatched, you will be liable for all postage costs involved and you will need to follow the Returns Procedure above. Upon receipt of the goods in their original condition and packaging we will action your refund as soon as possible.


Back Orders

Despite our best efforts, particularly popular items can sell out and when this is the case, please contact us and we will inform you of the expected earliest delivery date.


Faulty /Damaged Items

With items that have arrived in an unsatisfactory condition or damaged during transit, please notify us of the problem immediately ( refer to General terms below) .Please follow the Returns procedure and upon receipt the items will be inspected by a member of staff - No decision will be given until this time.  If agreed faulty we will cover the cost of any reasonable return postage due.(we will not pay for special courier services)and we will either send you a replacement or provide you with a full refund including your delivery cost. Refunds will not be issued until goods are received back at the above address.

Exceptions

Please note that the actual colour of some items may differ slightly from the photographic representations shown on this internet site and  descriptions of performance and suitability are purely subjective.

General Terms

All damage must be indicated when signing for the goods. If you don't check the goods before signing you must sign UNCHECKED on the delivery sheet otherwise we cannot claim for damage caused in transit.

If you fail to check the goods or fail to sign unchecked on the delivery sheet your delivery insurance becomes invalid and no delivery damage claims will be allowed.
